Research Interests
- Personal, economic, and social factors that produce health at an individual and population level, and the role of the health care system in that process
- Equity of health, health care services use and health care financing
- Private and public financing and delivery of health care services and its relationship to outcomes
- Aging and the use of health and social services
Current Research Projects
- Trends in elders’ use of home and community care services, with the BC Ministry of Health
- Building administrative data and research capacity in British Columbia – required technical, human resource, training and policy infrastructures
- Equity in the use of health care services using linked survey and administrative data
- Staffing, ownership and outcomes in long term care
- Outcomes by surgical setting and expedited status of musculoskeletal surgeries among injured workers
