| Dr Sheps’ research focuses on surgical and health service wait times, adverse medical events, measuring quality of care, and trends in the use of care by the elderly in British Columbia. He is also currently the principal investigator on a Health Canada-funded project assessing approaches to governance and safety in non-health industries.

| Dr. Sutherland’s research interests include development of methods for monitoring and evaluating health system performance, measuring burden of illness and exploring causes and consequences of variations in health system utilization and funding.

| Dr. Wong's research focuses on primary health care, specifically patient-provider communication (risk communication, decision-making), cancer control and prevention, and service utilization among different ethnocultural groups.
