Space at the conference venue is limited.

CHSPR set aside a maximum of 50 spaces for students and independent, non-profit community groups at a price of $175 for the full conference. These reserved spaces were assigned on a first-come, first-served basis as proof of eligibility was provided. .
Students must provide proof of current full-time enrollment. Representatives of community groups must provide a declaration indicating that they and their organization(s) receive no financial support from any for-profit corporations in the health care sector. (Maximum two (2) reduced fee registrations per community group.)
To apply for one of these spaces, please email conference@chspr.ubc.ca. Applicants will be notified of their status within 10 business days of applying. Registration fees for these spaces must be paid in full within 15 business days of confirmed registration and no later than 10 February 2012.
Possible Travel Funding Opportunity
Students and new investigators wishing to travel to the CHSPR Annual Policy Conference (particularly those presenting posters at the event) may wish to consider applying for travel support from the CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research (IHSPR). Please see the Institute Community Support (ICS) Program on the IHSPR website for information about this program, which is designed to support community development, research and knowledge translation activities where the circumstances fall outside CIHR’s programs.
Cancellation Policy
The Conference Organizers and their agents reserve the right to cancel the event up to ten (10) days prior to the event date. Each registrant will be notified by telephone, with written notification and a full refund following. The University of British Columbia is not responsible for any costs, including but not limited to airline or hotel penalties.
If written notice of withdrawal and original receipt is received at UBC CHSPR before 27 January, 2012, the registration fee will be refunded less a $75.00 CDN administrative charge.
No refunds will be granted for withdrawal after this date, although a substitute delegate may attend at no additional cost. No refunds will be granted for any reason once the conference has commenced.
